- I don't know what voltage the 486 fan operates on, but I'd be extremely
- reluctant to try to run a DC fan by leeching power off the 1541 power
- supply. The only thing that I think would be safe is to use a 120VAC
- fan and just connect it to the "downstream" side of the power switch
- and to the side of the power cord that is not switched. Do NOT connect
- it to the lead that goes to the third (grounding) pin of the power
- plug.
